Born on 4 Jun 1895 son of the Rev. Wilfred Harold and Helen Maud (Peck) Davies of St. Giles-in-the-Fields' Rectory, London. Educated at Haileybury College 1909-14 and Jesus College, Cambridge. He was unmarried.

Wartime Service

Enlisted as Motor Dispatch Rider in Dec 1914, gazetted 2nd Lieutenant R.E. in Jun 1915, entered France in Jan 1916 and was promoted Lieutenant in Feb 1917. He was killed in action at Roclincourt near Vimy.
