Born on 5 Nov 1894 in Glasgow, Scotland son of John Freeland and Helena Emily Margaret (Hoggan) Hutcheson later of Eden House, Bridge of Allen, Stirling. Educated at Haileybury College 1910-13.
Wartime Service
Entered France with his battalion on 12 May 1915 at Boulogne. Killed in action at Montauban in the first phase of the Battle of the Somme.
