Born on 23 Aug 1887 at St. Germain-en-Laye, Seine et Oise, France son of Charles Frederic Joseph and Martha Helene Jephson later of 11 Gardnor Mansions, Church Row, Hampstead, London. Educated at Haileybury College 1901-05 and then lived in Hailey Lane, Hertford Heath as a Stock Exchange clerk in 1911.
Wartime Service
He entered Egypt on 10 Sep 1917 and was killed in action in Palestine.
