Born in 1894 son of Joseph and Mary Jane Suckling later of London Road, Ware. He was living in Blue Coat Yard, Ware in 1901 and 1911.

He married Elizabeth Charlotte Stockwell in 1916 in Ware and they lived at 28 Baldock Street, Ware.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Ware formerly 265276, Drummer, Hertfordshire Regiment and was killed in action.
