Born in 1896 in Enfield, Middlesex son of William A and Marie (later Mrs Haslar) Johnson of 122 High Oak Road, Ware, Herts. and was living at 4 Crown Villas, Hoddesdon Road, St Margaret’s.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford formerly 5669, Hertfordshire Regiment and was killed in action by a shell while on his return to the front trench from battalion HQ.
