Born on 9 Aug 1879 in Hampstead, London son of Nevill and Rebecca Jourdain of 51 Fellows Road, Hampstead and baptised in Hampstead. Educated at Haileybury College 1893–96. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the Suffolk Regiment on 15 Nov 1899 and Lieutenant 29 Dec 1900. Husband of Olive Jourdain.

Wartime Service

Served in South Africa. Military Censor at Alexandria in Aug 1914. Killed in action near Ypres.
