Born on 30 Mar 1899 and baptised on 13 Apr 1899 in Birkenshaw, West Yorkshire son of Rev. Basil Nathaniel and Ethel (Homfray) Keymer later of Gosbeck Rectory, Ipswich. Educated at Haileybury College 1913-16 and RAF Cranwell.

Wartime Service

Received his Flying Certificate on 8 Sep 1916 and entered RAF Cranwell on 29 Apr 1917 as a Probationary Flying Officer. He was killed in action in Russia and is known to be buried in Krasnodar Cemetery, Krasnodar, Russia but his grave was lost.

Additional Information

After WW1 was ended a number of British Forces were sent to Russia to assist in the Russian Civil War.
