Born on 16 Feb 1895 in Basingstoke, Hampshire son of Percy and Hilda Mary Wildman (Whitehouse) Lamb later of Ebblake Cottage, Verwood, Dorset. He was living in Araphoe, Colorado, U.S.A. in 1900, was educated at Haileybury College 1909-13, but returned to Colorado in 1913. He then came back to England in 1915 and joined up.

Wartime Service

Entered France on 27 Jun 1916 but died of pneumonia on active service in Cairo.
