Born in 1889 in Nazeing, Essex son of Mrs. Alice Warters (formerly Littlechild) and step son of John Harry Warters and living in West Hoe Cottages, Rye Road, Hoddesdon in 1901 and in 3 South Villa, Rye Park in 1911 and later in 102 Rye Road, Hoddesdon. He was a nursery labourer.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford formerly 15691 Bedfordshire Regiment and was killed in action.
