Born on 30 Oct 1879 in Bungay, Suffolk son of Henry Hugh and Alice Ella Master and baptised on 1 Jan 1880 in Thorpe-next-Norwich and living in Grove Road, Norwich in 1891. Educated at Haileybury College 1893-97. He married Mary E Collins in 1912 in Fylde, Lancashire and later lived at 49 Parkgate Road, Chester, Cheshire.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Chester and died while a prisoner of war at Mons.
