Born on 24 Jun 1892 in Willesden, London son of John Andrew and Nellie Maxwell later of 14 Hollycroft Avenue, Hampstead, London. Educated at Haileybury College 1906-11.

Wartime Service

Served in H.M.S. President for Observer duties on 27 Jan 1916. Joined Ark Royal as observer on 26 Oct 1916. Killed in action in Bulgaria.
