Born on 12 Jul 1881 and baptised on 29 Sep 1881 in Poonah, India son of Surg. Gen. William McConaghy (Bombay M.S.) and Mary Broderick McConaghy of "Ferndale," Westward Ho, Devon. Educated at the United Services College 1889-1898.

Wartime Service

Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant R.A.M.C. in 1905. Died on active service in the Sinai Peninsula.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
