Born in  either 1897 or 1898 in Buntingford, Hertfordshire son of Robert Frood and Priscilla (Thoday) Dellow and living in High Street, Buntingford in 1901 and in Market Hill, Buntingford in 1911. He was educated at Hertford Grammar School. His father was a baker



 


Wartime Service

Enlisted at Royston and was killed in action at Hill 60 near Ypres.

*1 He is also remembered on his mother and fathers headstone in Layston Cemetery Extension, Layston, Buntingford. His inscription reads:
