Born on 8 Nov 1894 in Bolton, Lancashire son of Sigismund Ralph and Rita Miller (later Mrs Owen of 34 Clarence Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester). Educated at The Royal Masonic School 1902-09 he then worked in a civil engineering office. He emigrated to Canada.

Wartime Service

Enlisted on 5 Nov 1914 in St John, NB, Canada he died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen in No. 8 Casualty Clearing Station, Bailleul.
