Born on 17 Jun 1893 in Southsea, Hampshire son of Admiral and Mrs. Francis Spurstow Miller of "Spurstow", 24 Dunkeld Road, Bournemouth, Hampshire. Educated at the United Services College 1906-11. Became a rancher in Argentina 1911-14 and then a farmer in New Zealand.

Wartime Service

Enlisted in New Zealand. Was wounded at Gallipoli in 1916 and invalided back to England. He was killed in action on the Somme.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
