Pre War

Born in 1893 in Hunsdon, Ware, Hertfordshire son of George and Ann K. Moore. He was a stableman and was unmarried.

Wartime Service

He had been a member of the 6th Bn. Middlesex Regiment Special Reserve from 3 Apr 1911, had served in the East Indies from 10 Jan 1913 to 18 Nov 1914 and joined the British Expeditionary Force in France on 18 Jan 1915. He was killed in action four weeks later in Belgium.
