Born on 6 Jan 1879 and baptised on 17 Mar 1879 in Egham, Surrey son of Richard Albert and Emily Notley of "Larksfield", Englefield Green, Surrey. Educated at Haileybury College 1892-97.

Wartime Service

Formerly Private 5592 13th London Regiment and then Private 492511 Artists’ Rifles, he obtained a commission in the Lancaster Regiment on 28 Aug 1917 and was killed in action.
