Pre War

Born in 1878 in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire son of Henry W. and Sarah S. Nottage, and living in Burford Street, Hoddesdon in 1881 and in Lord Street, Hoddesdon in 1891. He married Elizabeth Norris in 1899 and they lived in Lord Street, Hoddesdon in 1901. In 1911 they lived in 25 Cunningham Road, Tottenham and had four daughters. He was a plate layer on the railway.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Mill Hill, Middlesex and was killed in action.
