Born on 25 Sep 1890 and baptised on 26 Oct 1890 in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire son of Frederick William and Ellen Louisa Nunn and was living in Lord Street, Hoddesdon in 1891 and 1901. He married Martha Elizabeth Lay (later Mrs Abrahart) in 1910 in Hendon and they lived at 121 Lord Street, Hoddesdon. He was a milkman. Later they lived at 91 St. Loys Road, Tottenham, London.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford and was killed in action in trenches on the banks of the Ijser in Ypres.

Additional Information

Brother of Leading Cook’s Mate Frederick William Nunn who was killed in action 28 Aug 1914 and is also commemorated on these memorials.
