Born on 26 Sep 1891 in 17 Hamilton Road, Bromley, Kent, son of Henry and Emily Annie Allan later of Woking, Surrey and Hempsyke, Whitby, Yorkshire. Made Freeman of the City of London in the Haberdashers Company on 1 Oct 1912.

Wartime Service

Received his commission on 14 Aug 1914, entered France on 8 Nov 1914 and died of wounds.
