Born in 1891 in Brickendon, Hertford son of Joshua and Catherine Allum and living in 4 Paradise Row, Brickendon in 1901 and in 29 Bull Plain, Hertford in 1911. He was a woodman.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford formerly 15164, Bedfordshire Regiment died of wounds probably in one of the many hospitals in Bailleul.

Additional Information

Of the ten families living in Paradise Row, four lost a total of five sons in WW1 and all are listed on this memorial.
