Pre War

Son of Sir Kenneth Anderson, Bart., K.C.M.G., and Louisa Mary Anderson, of Stamford House, Wimbledon, London - 4th daughter of James Cochrane Stevenson who was MP for South Shields. He was born in Kings Langley on 13th November 1898 and educated at St Aubyn's School Rottingham.


He entered the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth in September 1913.

Wartime Service

At the outbreak of war in August 1914 he joined HMS Bulwark and lost his life when she was blown up at Sheerness on 26th November 1914.
