Pre War

Born on 16 May 1878 in Dorchester, Dorset son of George James Williams and Catherine Andrews and baptised on 10 Oct 1878 in Dorchester. Educated at Haileybury College 1892-94. Later he lived at 15 Meyrick Street, Pembroke Dock, Wales. Gazetted 2nd Lieutenant on 4 May 1898, Lieutenant on 30 Aug 1901. Served in South Africa 1899–02.

Wartime Service

Landed at Zeebrugge on 6 Oct 1914 and was killed in action at the first Battle of Ypres.
