Born in 1898 in Workington, Cumberland son of George Tomlinson and Anne Archibald of 3 Warwick Terrace, Carlisle. Educated at Royal Masonic School 1906-13.
Wartime Service
Enlisted on 24 Oct 1914 at Camden Town formerly 2766, London Regiment and transferred to the Machine Gun Corps. He was killed in action west of Neuville St. Vaast (N of Arras) where his Regiment was operating in a railway cutting.
