Pre War

Born on 30 May 1891 in Waverton, Cheshire son of the Rev. Charles Lowther and Mary Delamere (Tylor) Arnold later of The Wilderness, 20 Wimborne Road, Bournemouth. Educated at Haileybury College 1905-10, he became articled clerk to a solicitor and lived in Stockwell, London in 1911.

Wartime Service

Initially entered WW1 in Mesopotamia on 13 Oct 1916 and was killed in action in France.

Additional Information

Brother of 2nd Lieutenant Alban Charles Phileas Arnold who was killed in action on 7 Jul 1916.
