Pre War

Born in 1889 in Fanham’s Hall Cottages, Ware, Hertfordshire son of William and Emma Perry and was living in Blakesware Cottages, Wareside in 1901 and later living in Hatfield Broad Oak, Essex. He was in the regular army and was in India in 1911 with the regiment.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Bishops Stortford, entered the Balkans on 25 Apr 1915 and was killed in action at Gallipoli.
