Donald Jack Wallyn Taylor was born in on 4 February 1901 to John Herbert and Caroline Agnes Taylor. On the 1911 Census, he was living with his parents in 6 Portland Road, Bishop's Stortford, where his father was a Grocers's Manager.


Wartime Service

His war service dated from 8 October 1918 and he was in K Section of the RAF Recruits Training Wing. He died of pneumonia in the Military Hospital, Blandford, Dorset on 31 October 1918. (Date varies from CWGC).

Additional Information

Pay owing of £3 4s 2d was awarded to his father John H Taylor but a war gratuity was not admissible.
