Born on 16 Aug 1893 son of Edward and Jessie Emma Baldwin of Bromley, Kent.


Educated at Royal Masonic School 1903-10 and became an insurance clerk. He shot competitively for his school and regiment at Bisley.

Wartime Service

Enlisted in the London Rifle Brigade as a Territorial in Mar 1913 and entered France on 14 Nov 1914. Having served at Ypres and Loos he was killed in action while leading his platoon at Lesboeufs.
