Born on 22 Jan 1891 in Chapmore End, Hertford and christened on 15 Mar 1891 in Bengeo Hertfordson of Samuel and Elizabeth (Waterman) Starkiss.


He emigrated to Ontario and married Margaret Emily McLeod on 29 Aug 1914 in Dereham, Oxford County, Ontario, Canada. She later lived in 843, Hiawatha Place, Seattle, Washington, U.S.A. and became Mrs Baker.

Wartime Service

He was killed in action at Vimy.
