Born on 13 Jul 1896 in Swindon, Lancashire son of the Rev. Canon Stephen Adye Scott Ram and Margaret King (Woodcock) Ram of 8 St. Peter's Grove, York. Educated at Haileybury College 1910-15 and Pembroke College, Cambridge (Classics Scholar).
Wartime Service
Entered France on 27 May 1916 and was killed in action on the first day of the Battle of the Some near Thiepval.
