Born on 22 Aug 1893 and baptised on 19 Sep 1893 in Aysham, Norfolk son of the Hon. Sir Thomas Crossley Rayner (late Chief Justice of British Guiana) and Lady Agnes (Harrison) Rayner. Educated at the United Services College 1906-10. Joined the British Guiana Police.

Wartime Service

Entered France on 8 Jun 1915 and was killed in action at Beaumont Hamel on the Somme.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
