Born on 17 Feb 1897 in Sligo, Ireland son of Maj. T. E. W. Bidgood later of Taynton House, Taynton, Gloucestershire. Educated at the United Services College and the Imperial Service College 1910-14.

Wartime Service

Entered Gallipoli on 23 Jul 1915. Mentioned in despatches (London Gazette 16 Jan 1918) and died of wounds in Egypt.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
