Born on 7 Feb 1898 son of Arthur Robert Taylor. Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1910-14 and then joined Lloyds Bank.
Wartime Service
Enlisted in Oct 1916 formerly 31504, Private, South Staffordshire Regiment and after attending cadet school he was gazetted 2nd Lieutenant King’s Liverpool Regiment on 28 Aug 1917 and entered France on 31 Oct 1917. He was reported missing believed killed in action at Cambrai.
