Born in 1877 in Southwark only son of Thomas and Elizabeth Reed later of Walworth, London. He was living at 97 Pollock Road, New Kent Road, London and later in Ware and worked as an iron moulder.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Ware formerly 8474, East Surrey Regiment, entered France on 3 May 1915 and was killed in action on the Somme.
