Born in 1890 in Putney, Surrey son of Robert and Deborah Reynolds and was living in the White Hart, 46 Baldock Street, Ware in 1911 when he was a butcher’s assistant.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford formerly 2865, Hertfordshire Regiment from the territorial force, entered France on 6 Nov 1914. At some point he transferred to the Bedfordshire Regiment and, as a Corporal, was awarded his MM after the battle of the Ancre in Nov 1916. He was killed in action near Ypres.
