Pre War

William Frederick Donisch was living in Marburg, Queensland prior to enlistment and gives his mother Magdalene Donisch as next of kin. Occupation: Civil Servant. 

Wartime Service

He enlisted on 30 March 1915 and served as a lieutenant in the 25th Battalion , C Company, of the Australian Infantry.  His unit embarked from Brisbane, Queensland, on board HMAT A60 Aeneas on 29 June 1915. 


He was promoted to Captain and killed in action on 14 November 1916.
