Born in 1885 in Ware, Hertfordshire son of William and Alice Bowcock and living in Amwellbury Cottages in 1901 and in 21 Mount Street, Ware in 1911 working as a hay binder. He married Sarah Jane Webb in 1915 in Ware and they lived at 2 Sam's Yard, Amwell End, Ware.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Bedford and was killed in action in France.
