Born on 21 Jul 1885 in Puckeridge, Hertfordshire son of Dr Edward and Marianne Gertrude (Nicholson) Brown, baptised on 6 Sep 1885 in Braughing and living in Bisley, Gloucestershire in 1891.


Educated at Haileybury College. He was living with his brother-in-law in Wallingford in 1911 as a farmer.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Epson and was killed in action at Croisilles, France.
