Born on 21 Aug 1868 in London, son of Gustaf and Annie Roos of 7 Queen's Gate Terrace, London. Educated at the United Services College 1880-82, Westminster School and Balliol College, Oxford (MA, BCL). He worked as an attorney in Durban, South Africa and returned to England on 30 Jun 1915.

Wartime Service

Served in the South African Campaign. Killed in action at the head of his company in th German trenches.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
