Pre War

Born on 29 Nov 1895 in Breage, Cornwall son of John and Ann Kennegy (Rogers) Rowe who both died when he was very young. He was brought up by an uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. King. Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1906-11. He was unmarried.

Wartime Service

Enlisted on 28 Aug 1914 in Truro and went to India on 2 Oct 1914. He then served with the Egyptian Expeditionary Force in Palestine from Feb 1916 and was killed in action during the advance on Gaza.
