Pre War

Born in 1898 in Launton, Oxfordshire son of Frederick and Ann Royce later of Maple Cottage, Danebridge, Much Hadham. In 1901 they lived at the Railway Station at Launton, Oxfordshire where his father was the station master and in 1911 he was living in Harlesden, London.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Mill Hill and died of wounds probably in hospital at Poperinge.
