Born 11th December 1889, son of Charles A. and Agnes Buck, late of Baldock, Herts

Wartime Service

Arthur joined at Alberta, Canada, and spent his entire service with the Canadian Forces.


He was severely wounded on 31st of October 1917 and died the next day.

Additional Information

Arthur is also commemorated on the family headstone in Baldock Cemetery, his inscription reads:

“. . .  ALSO OF ARTHUR BURDETT BUCK PRIVATE 19TH. CANADIANS
KILLED IN ACTION AT PASSCHENDAELA 1ST. NOVEMBER 1917. AGED 27 YEARS."
The rest of the inscription is not clear.
