Born in 1891 in Whempstead, Hertfordshire and baptised on 18 Jan 1891 in Watton at Stone son of Walter and Elizabeth Bunyan, living in Watton at Stone in 1901 and Bennington in 1911. He was a hay tier.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Watford and was killed in action on the Somme.

Additional Information

SDITGW says that he was born in Sarratt, but his census records say that he was born in Whempstead. UK Army Registers of Soldiers’ Effects say his father was Walter, so it seems to be the same man.
