Born on 18 Sep 1878 in Tenby, Pembrokeshire son of Lt. Col. George Ryan (Army Medical Dept.) and Louisa Clotilda Ryan of Ashby Cottage, Ryde, Isle of Wight. Educated at the United Services College 1893-95. Served in the South African Campaigns 1899-1901, Egypt 1903-10 and in the Sudan 1905.

Wartime Service

Killed in action near Givenchy.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
