Born on 1 Dec 1883 in Bridgwater, Somerset son of Gilbert George and Amelia Frances (Bryant) Burrington, of "Elstow," Golf Links Road, Burnham-on-Sea, England. Educated at Haileybury College 1898-1902. He went to Canada in 1902 and was unmarried.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at the outbreak of war in Canada and came over in the first contingent in Oct 1914. He entered France in Feb 1915 and was wounded in the trenches at Festubert and died in the General Hospital in Boulogne.
