Born on 1 Aug 1875 in Stillorgan, Dublin, Ireland son of Col. Johnson William Savage (late Royal Engineers) and Ann Elizabeth Savage (nee Wilson) of Box Grove, Guildford. Educated at Haileybury College.

Wartime Service

Served in the South African Campaign. Joined the 10th Battalion voluntarily having served in 2nd Battalion for 15 years. Entered Gallipoli in July 1915 and was killed in action.
