Born on 14 Mar 1889 in Bank House Loddon, Norfolk son of Edward and Caroline Emma Cadge and baptised on 7 Apr 1889. Educated at Haileybury College 1903-06 and was in Ceylon 1909-14.

Wartime Service

Obtained temporary commission in Aug 1914, entered France with his battalion and was killed at Hulluch during the battle of Loos.
