Born in 1883 in Roydon, Essex son of George and Elizabeth Schooling and living in Roman Street, Hoddesdon in 1891 and in 1901.

He married Edith Mary Bunce on 1 Aug 1914 in Southwark, London and they lived in 22 Roman Street, Hoddesdon in 1916. He was a house painter and had two children.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford formerly 3510 Hertfordshire Regiment and died of wounds.
