Born in 1899 in 15 Lime Kiln Cottages, Ware Road, Hertford son of Henry and Miriam Seymour and still living there in 1901 and 1911.

Wartime Service

Enlisted on 10 Nov 1914 at Hertford and was in the Reserve and Base Depot until he probably entered France on 6 Jul 1918. He died, possibly in hospital at Rouen, from wounds received in action.

Additional Information

Enlisted at age 15 but declared himself to be 17.
