Born on 31 Mar 1890 and baptised on 8 May 1890 in Hayes, Middlesex son of Frank and Grace Shackle. Educated at Haileybury College 1903-09. He married Georgina Florence Dark in 1913 and they lived in Midnapore, Alberta, Canada. He presumably returned home to enlist.
Wartime Service
He entered France on 5 May 1915 and was killed in action.
